I came really close to going with Babalu. I think Babalu's size is going to be a factor. I re-watched Shields/Lawler. Lawler was able to escape the takedown, but his striking was impotent because he was so worried about it. With Babalu having fought at HW in the past, and Lawler being as low as WW, I really think the 195 catchweight favors Sobral.

I think there will be a lot of clinching. Lawler's striking is not as great as I remembered either. I like Sobral now. But I still feel that Lawler will have an advantage the longer the fight goes.


So, basically, you are going to lose because I agree with you.

I've been watching their fights all week and just havent been impressed with Lawler's striking either .I'm not too worried about Sobral's conditioning ,I think he'll be fine
