Pretty good card.

Shogun's win does more for the division... I thought Machida would win, but I like both guys and Shogun went at it with reckless abandon.

Plus I like him because he's sort of fat.

Shogun still has work to do on his takedowns/takedown defense. Really hope he patches those holes up because he's gona need it when freak wrestlers start popping around.

I wouldn't say his takedown defense is all that bad. Don't forget Machida is a Blackbelt in Judo and Sumo. The important thing is he couldn't do jack shit to Shogun once he did have him down. I don't think Shogun is too worried about being taken down because of the fact that his ground game is so dangerous. Before he became known as a striker Shogun was winning fights with some nasty ass leglocks and shit. Plus he swept Machida to get back onto his feet.

I need to start betting more boxing and less MMA .I was going over my excel sheet and updating it while the KOS fight was going on .Check this out:

6-1 in boxing +7.05 units

5-5 in MMA -3.02 units


Winning almost most of my boxing bets but am betting more MMA fighs that I'm not even breaking even in unit wise lol

I thought I lost 5u, but for some reason my prop bet that Machida/Rua starts rd 3 for 9u was cancelled, so looks like I won about 4u.
