Yeah SPX, that's exactly what I said. I just said Penn/Guida is a fight I'm not very interested in.
And yeah I guess Guida "beat" Diaz. And sure, the old 'he was winning until he lost' argument against Huerta. The dos Anjos fight was a fluke, he landed just right and broke his jaw, then continued to lose the fight. I don't know, maybe I'm being unfair, but Guida is barely a .500 fighter and I've never been impressed with anything he's done.
Did we watch a different fight? I don't remember Guida being behind on the cards even before the verbal tap.
We've already established you don't know how to score a fight.
Triple-six killers in this motherfucker runnin shit
I had it 10-9 Dos Anjos for round one, and 10-9 Guida for round two... Dos Anjos took Guida down and landed more significant strikes in round one. In round two Guida landed some nice strikes of his own and got the takedown, then passed guard. The way things were going in round three with that slam Guida had there should be no question who would have won the decision if it went to the judges. You sound like you don't want to give him any credit at any cost here. He "barely" beat Dos Anjos, he "beat" Diaz. I gotta wonder if you don't have something against the guy here. But thats neither here nor there. My advice would be to rewatch the fight and see if perhaps your not remembering it correctly or whatever.

Agreed. I had it Dos Anjos rd. 1, Guida rd.2, w/ Guida en route to win a 29-28 decision before the tap.
I knew it. Guida was outstruck 5-1 from Diego's back and looked like a bag of smashed assholes. Won round 2 my ass. Only in the Ludocain top position is all that matters scoring handbook. And revisionist history nothing. You can go search if you like, I've always maintained a 30-26 Diego scorecard.

Get your shit together. We're talking about Guida/Dos Anjos, not Guida/Sanchez.
Anjos got his jaw broke in round 1 I thought so that could have made a difference
I thought it was round 2, but yeah, it's obviously significant. When fighters lose because of broken jaws, arms, ribs, hands, etc. we don't usually accept that as an excuse Yes, it is a factor, but that's part of fighting. If you don't want to lose then don't let your shit get broke.
In any case, I thought it had more to do with Guida's gameplan in rounds 2 and 3 than it did with the jaw. In round 1, nigga thought he was Mike Tyson and tried to box. After the first round he started going for the takedown and getting his GnP on and that's when the tide turned.
