I dont get it. Fedor looks "doughy" every fight, and then knocks the fuck out of the bigger guy. He had an off night, he fucked up.

Yeah, there's this whole tale about how Fedor can't compete with the new era of giant cut-to-265 heavys. Of course, I'm not buying it.

First of all, Fedor was actually beaten by one of the smaller HWs, so no help there. This "wave" of giants consists of two guys, maybe three (Lesnar, Carwin, Overeem), who are indeed great fighters, but so far have a total of maybe 5 quality wins between them. Cain is sometimes grouped with them, but he's actually not that big, and course, JDS is also on the small end of the scale. Frank Mir only had to get smacked around a couple times to realize that pure size wasn't all it was cracked up to be.
