So, with the reasonable contingent of Utahns here on IWS, I thought I'd see who might be going to this. It'll be cheaper, I'm sure...

Those of you in Utah (and in the area)... we should meet up and go to this. Anyone, anyone?

Me, I'm on the fence......
I was soooo excited when they first anounced the card, but of coarse that was 117......A Silva vs. C Sonnen, next day when they gave it to Oakland it felt like someone pulled the rug out from underneath me, I couldn't even talk about it.
117 is so stacked and Versus is mediocre at best, I'm having a hard time with even wanting to go.
I am going to 117 though, i'm not going to let them take that from me, It's my birthday week and I'm going to enjoy!

I would like to meet you guys, I know I don't say much but I am always here and the group thing would be way cool.
I guess I better make up my mind.....before Wednesday!

What do you know about Fight Club? How many tickets do you think they will let you buy? How much do you think the good (not GREAT) tickets for the Versus event will cost?

Fight Club is 75 bucks. You can buy tix 2 days before general public, and one day before newsletter. A lot of the times, the cheaper tickets sell out to Fight Club before they go to GP... then you have to go to StubHub to buy.

I've been to two fights, 100 and 108, and they were both pretty fun. I wasn't a fan of the 108 card, but they were all around good fights and the energy is always electric.

I don't know what the prices will be, though. Oddly enough, I've never been in Energy Solutions, so I don't know how the seats'll be overall. I do know you can't get a bad ticket at MGM.

Yeah, I'm joining the Ultimate Fight club, i've looked into it. I'm going to need to anyway for 117 tickets.

2 tickets is all they will let you buy? that sucks! then we can't even buy enough to sit together.

I'm in! I'll join ya.....twist my arm.....ouch! it'll be a fun week!

i went to 92 at the MGM, we paid 500 per seat.....hoping to pay half that in SLC.

Cheapest I can get. Looks like they start at $40. I'm going to try to get in that range, though they might be 40-50-60 bucks a piece. Whatever is cheapest.

If we want to sit together, I'll buy the tickets, then you can give me cash when we hook up before the fight. Maybe get a little pre-party at The Green Pig or Bayou or something.

Interesting. Considering the fact that you live in Park City, I was thinking you were gonna want cage side or some shit like that.

I think me and my buddy were talking about dropping $100 or so. We don't want to spend too much, but don't want to be up in the nosebleeds either.

Ha! Living in Park City doesn't mean I'm rich. With the downturn in the housing market, we scored a sweet deal.

The prices max out at 250, so 100 would be pretty close seats. Being higher up isn't necessarily a bad thing, looking 'into' the ring is better than being eye level with it... you wind up watching the big screens most of the time anyway.

The one time I was going to go to a UFC event in Columbus the seats I wanted were 2000 a piece .I said forget it I'll stay home

Try to find pictures of the event stadium so you know what it looks like from the seats you plan on buying


I usually use seatdata.com for sports but I dont know if they have UFC event seating pics
