This is what I read under her Bio: "Sexton has been involved in martial arts for over 15 years, with competitive experience in Mixed Martial Arts, as well as Jiu Jitsu, and Tae Kwon Do - in both of which she holds a black belt."

BUt I see under her Accomplishments :
"Black belt in TJF Jiu Jitsu
Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu"


So basically, I fell for the old jiu jitsu swap out for brazilian jiu jitsu. From where I stand, I always just call bjj "jiu jitsu" but there is definitely a vast world of difference between japanese jiu jitsu and brazilian jiu jitsu.

Yeah, you really have to watch that with female fighters. It can be pretty hard for them to get fights so they fight out of their natural weight a lot.
