I haven't seen the fight, but the ring is a big factor in Aokis success. Even if he can't get takedowns it's far easier to trap a guy in the corner and pull guard.

Just watched the Aoki fight. Kawajiri was caught in the submission literally 15 seconds into the fight and just never got out of it and finally tapped after almost 2 minutes

And now it's Mousasi vs. Mizuno for the title?!?! They might as well give Mousasi the belt and call off the fight. Unless they are going to bribe Mousasi into losing the fight for tons of money. No way Mousasi would accept it.
