I'm intrigued.

If this could be the re-introduction of true tournaments in the US (with fighters fighting more than once a night) then it could prove to be very interesting indeed.

I know the tourney doesnt start in Houston but I didnt want to start a new thread just for this

Strikeforce Tournament Rules: 1) Random drawing at weigh-ins. 2) Three (3) minute rounds. 3) Scored Draw = sudden victory round

It might be their general rules for one night tournaments. 3-min rounds sounds like a way to stay under the limit that fighters are allowed to fight on a given day.

There's no rule against fighting twice in one night. The rule is that a fighter can only fight 25 minutes in one night.

I just saw Gurgel is fighting KJ Noons. I really think Gurgel is going to have a hard time winning this one for sure. Gurgel just doesn't beat guys that I've heard of.
