IANAL, but I think suing people for *watching* a stream would require them to break entirely new legal ground. They're going after the IP numbers of the streamers.

Since UFC 117 is tomorrow I didnt want anyone worrying about getting caught, fined or arrested for trying to watch the event I contacted a lawyer that writes about legal issues relating to mixed martial arts and boxing .I asked him his thoughts specifically on people watching illegal downloads(not streaming) and if anything could happen to viewers. He posted his thoughts in a write up on his site . Its is long but covers everything .
