Most people use units to describe the size of their bet in proportion to the overall bankroll... so a 33u return is great if you are playing with a typical 50-100u bankroll. If you are just betting $100, it is hard to measure your sucess... Like if you look at our contest, Poopoo has turned in a 70% roi in just 2 months, and most of us have been up at least 30% at one point. but if really bet like that, the risk of ruin is too high, we would all eventually go bust.

I know I am probably not telling you anything you don't know. But the +unit return has more meaning within a specific framework.

ya i know what you are saying and the unit of 100 is based of a % of my bankroll but not an exact %. It is basically the number i fell into after having some big ups and big downs. I know it is confusing to gauge here because I started at 0.. At my original thread I just posted dollar amounts but I just think units or any kind of term other than dollar looks better.

This is a link to my thread i started 9/09. I posted at the site since 12/08 but the thread is when I started betting bigger and decided to track my picks. You guys can check out some of the huge losses Ive certainly had like when werdum tangled fedor up. My biggest win of the summer tho was hathaway over sanchez. I got hathaway at +330, man i miss those days.

Hey Brooks are you going to post any parlays with multiple sports in this thread?

I saw you had quite a few at the beginning of your scr thread that looked like winners. Even if you only win a few your still making $ seems like a good strategy.

I think it should back to back nights with a +400 winner but the crazy BFC judges dropped the ball again. Barret clearly won round 1 and 2 with top control, im not sure what the judges were watching.

Congrats but I agreed with the judges exactly. He had top control but was doing absolutely nothing and getting beat up by the Pole from the bottom.
