I also rode a bull and got thrown on my ass. It was probably the top 3 dumbest things I have ever done.

All in all, pretty good time.

Where did you ride the bull at?

The super secret sports book was not carrying lines on Strikeforce, so I went all over damn town trying to find a line. No one had it.

I had the same problem when I went there in May finding lines for SF.I also remember southbaysurf saying I was a liar . Did you even get to watch it? I couldnt even find a sportsbook playing the event and I went to around 10 of them looking .I ended up missing the whole event and getting updates by Zak and SPX

They only knew who Feijo was because he was on the card at the SF event we went to in St. Louis.

No one knows shit about mma. The fact that I can't win every bet is humiliating to me now. The public is so clueless, I should be able to win a lot easier.
      Two things. . .

      1. I think that MMA itself is still relatively niche, but not the UFC. The majority of males under 40 in America can probably identify the UFC and name at least one UFC fighter. I bet literally only 5% of them could name a Bellator fighter, though.

      2. I think that for the most part, the people who are betting on MMA are real fans. So the whole notion of "going up against the public" is probably something of a misnomer. Really you're going up against other dedicated fans of the sport.

I really think it is because of Dana honestly . The UFC has a ton of events in Vegas , SF has never had one in Vegas. Maybe Dana has threatened casinos not to show SF or have lines for them or he wont come back to Vegas

It has to be something because for casinos to never show SF or have lines just isnt right

            Luke,

I checked probably a dozen sportsbooks and no one had it. I even went out to Red Rocks because someone said they might have it... that is a pretty badass book BTW (all SF failings aside).

I did not even get to watch the event. I had to read about it on my phone. I was very confident in my SF bets... but I read that Galvao almost got KO'd in Rd 1 and Noons about got DQd. I would have been pissed because I had just finished the poker tourney when I read about it and I was already steaming from sitting for 5 hours and missing cashing.

I rode the bull at this ranch in the desert about 40 minutes from Vegas. Sandy Valley Ranch. It was not offered on thier site, but my buddy really wanted to do it and it was his bachelor party. So we called and they brought some guys in... they were dying laughing. They didn't think we were going to go through with it. They were like you guys are fucking insane... All of the workers came out to watch because no one thought we were going to do it. Now I know why. Those bulls are psychos. I almost died in the pen.

I totally agree with the first statement.

The second statement is true I think for smaller promotions. But for the UFC, you have drunken idiots in Vegas betting on everything.

Its pretty gay the the biggest gambling city in the country has no lines or showings of Strikeforce

I have a massive adrenaline addiction... it probably has a lot to do with my gambling addiction too. And I just can't back down from a challenge from my high school buddies. I basically though, well, I am about to break something and possibly get kicked in the head, but that fate beats the hell out of taking shit for life.

Yeah, I actually find it kind of daunting to bet on the little events like Strikeforce Challengers. It's the whole, "I'm betting against guys who actually know who 'Raul Castillo' and 'Shamar Bailey' are." thing.

Shit, something intimidates Svino? Well I'll be damned. . .

No, I get what you're saying and I agree. I always wonder HOW they know who those guys are. I mean, do they have access to resources that the rest of us don't have or what?

I think you can actually get BETTER lines on small cards. On Bellator, I think the lines have value a lot... I don't think it is guys that know. For example, Pitbull Freire fought Romero in round 1 of that tourney. Pitbull probably should have been -1000. The fact is that NO ONE knows who these guys are and the lines are wrong a lot

I don't know who they are a lot of time, but google is pretty miraculous for gathering info and video in a short period of time.
