Honestly, if I were charged with scoring fights just on who got the better of who... I would have given Rd 2 to Diaz. Kim took him down, but then he just got punched in the face a lot and defended submission attempts.

No, because he didn't do enough damage to negate the control that Kim had. But control is given too much weight IMO. I think control should score, but only from dominant positions.
