Maybe you are right, I just don't see where the oddsmakers are seeing that much value in Serra though.

Well, for one, Matt Serra's beat him once before. Also, since that fight Matt Serra beat GSP. He also sent Trigg into the 9th dimension. You don't think he deserves a little credit against a guy who's 9-7 in the UFC?

One detail of three. Lytle never beat Serra . . . but Serra beat Lytle. Also, Lytle is not one of only two people to beat GSP.

Hey, if you think Serra beating GSP makes him more likely to beat Lytle, then more power to you. The odds of him finishing Lytle like that are about the same as the odds of him doing it to GSP, so whatev. This fight has another decision written all over it. More exciting though, most likely.

I'm not saying he'll finish Lytle. I'm saying that his striking skills and power need to be taken into account.

Next it'll be Machida. I'm going to have to deal with a lot of "Machida was always overrated" talk and other Sherdog shit like that.

I like Serra. I'm just disputing the fact that he should be some huge favorite over Lytle. Yeah Serra hits hard. So does Lytle. Anyone at WW not on their A-game can easily get their shit pushed in by Lytle in a number of ways. The fight is a pickem in my opinion.
