I don't really think it was too late. Soko was covered up, and at first, most of those punches were hitting his forearms. I prefer to see refs give fighters a chance to come out of it.

Yeah me too, but Soko clearly wanted out as soon as he hit the fence and was doing nothing at all. Far more punches got through than they should have.

It really amazes me how many professional fighter you see gas out after 1 round. I mean, it is your job we are talking about. How do you actually TRAIN for a fight, yet gas after 5 minutes?

Yeah it's pretty crazy. He won round 1 against Mousasi, Luis Cane, and Babalu. He even hit Machida pretty hard and took him down in the first round.
