Thinking back on it, I feel like this is a little like the Rampage/Nog fight.
The 1st and 3rd rounds of this fight were actually close. Like rounds 1 and 2 of Page/Nog. It's really only one hugely lopsided round that creates the impression of a dominant fight going against the decision. Getting judges to call more 10-10 or 10-8 rounds would really help, IMO.
Ugh, I guess being a pussy paid off. I only laid a half unit on Phan even though I was VERY confident he would win. My over 2.5 rounds bet covered that loss though so I made a small profit even though I should have gotten more. That was seriously the worst decision I have ever seen in MMA. Phan had round 1 easily, and round 2 was a clear round for sure. AND LOL @ GARCIA saying he won on the ground and Phan won standing up. BRB defending a RNC for 2 minutes=winning on the ground
I am at the point where I think about not betting at all because the judging is so bad.
It really is some scary shit. That was a CLEAR decision for Phan. How could it have even gone another way? When shit's that fucked up I agree that it makes one hesitant to continue betting on MMA.
What is it specifically about Garcia, though? Why do they ALWAYS fuck that shit up?
I guess I should count my blessings for winning my Hominick bet.

I agree 100%. A dominant 10-9 round, where the guy has some sub attempts, takedowns, some ground and pound, is scored the same as a guy scoring a late takedown to steal a round. Its so fuckin obvious they should not be the same, but these dipshits dont get it.

These boxing judges love him because he throws a lot of punches and grunts a lot. Clearly he's winning.

Probably so. Today's dominant 10-9 is the new 10-8. And 10-8 is the new 10-7.
I know the reason they're so hesitant to do it though is because they don't want to do everything they can to avoid a draw.

Well they're going to test out Doc Hamilton's half point system in CA amateur bouts. Half-point is completely redundant but w/e gets these judges to score something besides a 10-9.
