    Klitchko/Peter

    WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO -1350
    SAMUEL PETER +850

I am thinking about adding Klitchko to the never ending locks parlay. Luke?

    from my resident boxing guy:

"Kilit is fighting sam Peter this weekend. I'm pretty sure that Klit is going to stop Peter. They fought previously and Klit went down three times (behind the head shots) and badly wobbled Peter in the last round. This was at a time when Klit confidence was very low.

Since then Peter has quit against his brother and not really gone anywere with his career. Also I think Pete has passed his peak now he just gets fatter and slower. Whereas I think Klit is at his peak now.

Looking to lay one of the following

    5u (1.57) - Klit by stoppage or
5u (1.40) - Fight does not go the distance, there is a possibility that Klit gets sloppy "
    2012: +19.33
    2012 Parlay project: +16.5u

I wouldnt call it a lock by any means. Wlad has a glass chin and Peter is the biggest puncher in the HW division. This line is heavily inflated imo . I'd put it at -575 .Peter came in at 237 in his last fight ,the lowest of his career .Alot of it depends on Peter's weight

If I had to make a bet I'd probably take

      Klitschko wins in round 7-12 @ +129

Your resident boxing guy has it right IMO.

BUT! I would not add this to your locks parlay(Just my opinion), I think the -1350 is just plain ridiculous. Let me research this weekends fights, and I am pretty sure that I could find you a -500 or -600 that is just as much a lock as this fight.

I myself, am trying to figure out what the right over under play on this fight is. Wlad has a habit of carrying guys in the ring to the later rounds. I have a feeling he may drag this fight into the later part of the fight. like the 9th, 10th, or 11th. But who really knows, Peter almost looks like a fighter looking to cash paychecks at this point and time.

Keep an eye out for the Christopher Martin-Jose Luis Araiza line.

Araiza has an incredibly padded 29-2 record. And Martin looked magnificent against prospect Avalos last fight.

Jezus, I see alot of puffy lines this weekend in boxing. One fight that should be pretty damn good is the Peterson-Rios fight on ShoBox.

Rios is +145 in a fight that should be VERY close. And neither guy has been stopped, and the over 9 1/2 is -150. Rios has been on a bit of a destruction run, just killing dudes...but Peterson is another class than those opponents.

Wlad weighed in at 247, the heaviest of his career while Peter weighed in at 241 one of the lighest weights of his career

Just to give you an idea Peter weighed 265 for the Chambers fight so he's in shape .Will it matter though?

Actually the Peterson-Rios fight is on HBO. double header with Gamboa-Salido. Should actually be pretty good. I took Rios and the over.

Klitz ko win in the 10th.

Peter ended the fight looking like me when I finish running a mile.

Time to open a 5D account. Would have loved to have made a late rounds KO prop bet on this one.
