I don't know if "gravitate" is the right word, but I will listen to anything if evidence is provided.

Modern science shut outs things that can't readily be explained. It calls them "anomalies" and pretends they don't exist.

There is no evidence that Fast and Furious is a good movie.

Even the very top scientists in the world--even that negative nancy Dawkins--sheepishly admits that there is no really legitimate scientific explanation for how life spontaneously arose on earth. And while I admit that the issues of life arising and its subsequent of evolution--or lack thereof--are not necessarily linked, I think they probably are.

Then why can't scientists develop a "primordial soup" of all the necessary elements in a laboratory and generate new life?

Scientists can't recreate mountain formations. Doesn't mean our fundamental understanding of how they formed is wrong.

My basic position is that, "We don't know."

I actually think there's a LOT of shit that we don't know. Science revises its theories all the time. I just read an article the other day about how some evidence suggests that our understanding of gravity has been fundamentally flawed from the beginning. I mean, fuck, if we can't even trust our knowledge about GRAVITY then what the fuck CAN we trust?

And what the fuck is all this about dark matter and how does it change EVERYTHING?

Throughout the ages, science is replete with a lot of stupid shit that was widely accepted until new information came to light. It's the height of arrogance to think that we finally got it right and we couldn't possibly have fucked up again.

I agree we know very little but the origin of our species is pretty much flushed out in a general way.

I just feel that it overlooks some very interesting information, like the fossil record, which doesn't show dinosaurs slowly evolving from one species to another, but rather entirely new species appearing suddenly on the scene.

or maybe it's ancestor was never fossilized. Fossilization is very rare.
