I challenge any one to watch that whole fight. Just tell me where to find the somersaults.
I just watched it. The whole thing.
A few thoughts:
1. It's good to see Shamrock get a win, even if it was a relatively tentative and boring win against a journeyman with a 29-44 record who's 4-13 in his last 17 fights.
2. Ken Shamrock could probably continue his career--successfully--if he maintains this realization that he needs to be fighting shitty fighters instead of anyone who's even remotely viable in modern MMA.
3. Apparently Ivey fought again (and lost) just one week after this fight. I have to wonder what he hopes to accomplish in his career. Is he happy just being a showman with his antics and assorted tomfoolery? Or does he actually care about being a good fighter? Furthermore, does he get depressed when he loses or is it just another day at the office?
4. The only somersaults were at the very end of the third and seemed thrown in at the last minute just to say that he did.
All I saw was the highlights on inside MMA a few weeks ago... they made it look like the somersaults were the hightlight of the fight... I am so let down.

Hey, guess what? Shammy got a win. So shut the fuck up.
How can someone that was there at the begining of the UFC be so bad ?
Or was he just never good?
For some reason, this comment prompted me to look up Teila Tuli. Fun facts: He was in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall and has a recurring role in the 2010 remake of Hawaii Five-0.
