Keeping with their crusade against internet pirates, Zuffa, LLC has taken aim at an internet giant for aiding in the illegal distribution of UFC and WEC events.
ChillingEffects.com recently got their hands on a cease-and-desist letter sent from Zuffa, LLC to internet cornerstone Google.com; the exceedingly popular search engine and multinational corporation. The letter insists that Google stop aiding in the distribution of illegally obtained, copyrighted material by removing from their search results any website carrying video footage, images, artwork, etc. attributable to Zuffa, LLC or any of its subsidiary companies that they have not been officially granted the right to use.
A complete list of "infringing urls" was provided in the letter, to which Google has yet to publicly respond.
A scan of the letter is shown below, with the exception of the infringing urls list.
