He looked out of shape for the Hallman fight. Maybe if he starts taking things a little more seriously he can do better. He doesn't have a single ko to his record though and he seems to win mostly via Judo, not that I have seen a lot of his fights. He might have a little trouble in present day UFC now that everyone and their brother can wrestle and strike and grapple.

Karo's never really looked in-shape. And besides, no one here really knows how seriously these fighters are ever taking anything. We make assumptions, but we don't really know. I think he REALLY wanted to win that fight. For all we know he trained his ass off for it but got punched in the head and that's that.
Also, I'd like to point out that just because someone's no UFC level doesn't mean they can't have a career. The UFC houses the best of the best. If you're just not viable because you're not in the UFC then that means that 99% of fighters out there just need to give it up and go find something else to do.
With all that said, Karo's striking isn't very good and he probably never will be a great striker. And yeah, that's gonna hold him back.
