If Diego would have lost, my 5dimes account would have been close to being empty until after UFC 129. For some reason I lose all my bets on 5 dimes but win them all on bookmaker. Has this happened to any of you before? I would have probably withdrew some money from bookmaker and put it into 5dimes if that happened

Yeah I've had to reload before. I have a good amount of money in all of my accounts now though so hopefully it won't happen again. I am going to wait until I have a lot(hope this happens) to take out anything. I want to keep all my accounts juiced.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann promised to give everything they had Thursday night at the KFC Yum Center, and they stayed true to their words.

Sanchez and Kampmann put on a welterweight fight that MMA fans will be talking about for a long time. They threw caution to the wind and punched and kicked each other for a full 15 minutes. When the final bell rang, Sanchez's face was a bruised and bloody mess. But the look on his face didn't sway the judges against him in any way, as he was awarded a 29-28 victory across the board.

But earning the win and putting on an impressive showing wasn't the only agenda that Sanchez (25-4-0) had entering the cage. He wanted to finish Kampmann. Sanchez is on a mission to get a welterweight title fight, and he believed that the quickest path to reaching that goal was to dispose of Kampmann early.

He failed to do that but might have helped his cause nonetheless. UFC president Dana White was so enthralled with the action Sanchez and Kampmann delivered that he increased their fight-of-the-night bonuses from $40,000 to 60,000, then gave each fighter an additional $100,000.

And White still isn't done rewarding them: Sanchez and Kampmann will remain high on the 170-pound contender list.

"This is one of those fights where there is no loser," White told ESPN.com. "I thought Diego Sanchez won the fight. They're going to make more money than they were paid tonight. We're not done with them yet.

"These two are among the best in the welterweight division. After a fight like that, they are both still in the mix."

I had the sound down, laying in bed watching it and had no money on the fight, so my opinion is about as biased as it can be.

If Kampmann had just gone for ONE fucking takedown in the second and third round, I think he would've gotten it and would've clearly won those rounds. I'm not sure why he was so afraid to do so when clearly his wrestling was better.

I don't have a big problem with the decision because Kamp didn't use all his tools and didn't fight as smart as he could. Diego could not out-wrestle him; Diego could not out-strike him. But clearly Diego could out-crazy him and that was apparently enough to win.

I will say one thing in Diego's favor though, and that's that he knows how to turn it up. Most fighters may get a little more aggressive when they're down but they don't really fight like desperate men like they should be. Diego, however, goes batshit.

I wonder how long it will be before the UFC has its first scandal where a couple of undercard fighters (getting paid 3k to fight) get caught scripting a fight to try and land the tens of thousands of dollars in bonus money.

I just rewatched Shileds vs Kampmann since Kampmann vs Sanchez is still fresh in my mind. Damn Shields wrestling is worlds better than Diegos. It took Shileds 30 seconds to get his first takedown on Kampmann. Shields was also still securing takedowns when he was completely gassed. If you compared the 2 it would be like comparing Cain's to Kongo's wrestling

Also I've heard people complain about that decision too so someone please tell me what 2 rounds Kampmann possibly won in that fight?


Does anyone remember whos the last person to secure takedowns on GSP? I'd like to watch those fights if they were too long ago
