I got this weird feeling LeBanner is gonna KO Ishii.

I was just looking at LeBanner's fight with Akiyama and then Ishii's fight with Misipati (who is also just a kickboxer). Ishii just sort of rushes in with his head down looking for a clinch. That is exactly how LeBanner KO'd Akiyama, with a knee. Akiyama was dominating up until then, and he was probably giving up 70 pounds. Ishii is a lot closer to Lebanner's size, but he is only 5'11".

I could definitely see a knee on the shorter Ishii. I might even drop something on it.

^^^^Pretty much my thoughts as well. Ishii has pretty shitty takedowns from what I have seen, and his stand up is horrific.

Logic makes me think that Gegard should get his ass kicked. Yet I am reluctant to place a bet. I get this feeling its fixed. I am probably way way off. Anyways, I will be on Overeem inside the distance if I can find it. Anyone see it? Also, are there any special rules for this fight? Is it 3x5min?

They don't have any props for the Japanese cards (yet, I don't know if they will).

Fixes are the reason I tread lightly on Japanese MMA. There are a bunch of fights I would like to bet here. I will never bet against a fan favorite in Japan again, epecially on NYE.

Well I know Overeem isn't taking a dive so I am not too worried about it. I already have 6u on him at -385. I might put more if it gets down in that range again. If I can get him inside the distance I will pull the trigger. Duffee wins via strikes and his striking is not in Overeems league. On top of that, he is taking this fight on short notice. All evidence points towards Duffee getting killed.

yeah, that fight does not concern me as far as fixes and what not... The fight will end inside the distance one way or the other, but if it was going to be fixed, it would be fixed in Overeem's favor.

Duffee does move a lot more than most HW's though... Overeem may have trouble landing on him, his losses to strikers have all been against smaller quicker guys (and if you watched K1, Saki was landing on him a lot). I wouldn't worry about the ground. Overeem has a very solid ground game. He has won more via submission than he has via KO.

Overeem will KO him, IMO.

I don't think duffees striking is anywhere near ko level this will prob br a repeat of the brett rogers fight
