Well you conveniently ignored the Wallace fight, for one. And two, could you imagine him subbing ANYONE off his back in the WEC?

Comparing Sonnen's ground skills to Massenzio and Wallace's ................for real?

I said already that Sonnen's wrestling would be too much for him. I was just combating the claim that he can't wrestle "worth a shit." He has improved. That doesn't make him good, but he does have a skillset unlike, say, Cyrille Diabate.

I don't like the matchup but I didnt like the Machida-Sonnen matchup either . Brian Stann was starting to build a following so sending him to Sonnen to lose is a bad idea imo

Yeah, it doesn't make sense in terms of accomplishments either. His best win is Leben, which is impressive, but it doesn't warrant a fight with the guy who just dominated Anderson Silva for 23 minutes.

The Wallace fight was when he was at 205, in 2009, two fights before he made his middleweight debut. And yes,, if he was in the WEC with a man going into cardiac arrest on top of him, I could see him subbing him off of his back. And subbing somebody off of the back does not =improved wrestling
