I would probably replace "should" with "might."
Hardy's game and I think Hardy may even be a better fighter, technically, than AJ. He also hasn't been out for a year and a half. AJ has big time power though, and we saw in Hardy's last fight that he can be knocked out.
Really, I think that if either guy comes in as any sort of substantial dog then he's worth a bet.I heart cockComment

I don't know, man. AJ is probably a better wrestler, but Hardy isn't terrible. He's not like Melvin Manhoef on the ground or anything. I think that if it becomes a grappling war then it will remain competitive. This one most likely takes place primarily on the feet though, in any case.I heart cockComment

I agree that it will be AJ who goes for the takedown if that happens. Hardy may very well be able to scramble without a great deal of difficulty, though.
I just think that AJ's shown that he has "pretty good" wrestling, but nothing spectacular.I heart cockComment

Hardy's grappling is way behind AJ's IMO, I would be pretty surprised if he was able to hold his own with AJ, he won't catch him in a sub IMO. Hardy only has 1 actual submission win. Hardy stuffed several takedown attempts from Swick IIRC. Johnson has a better wrestling pedigree, but he usually opts to stand. I think Hardy will beat him unless AJ specifically comes in with a grappling gameplan, which he never has as far as I remember. BUt if it stays on the ground for any period of time, AJ is going to win.2012: +19.33
