I know they used to break lines right when Bodog did and the line movement was identical. Kind of like 5d and Sportbet. So I thought maybe they were owned by the same people.

One probably is just copying lines and line movements off the other. When pinnacle was still available to US citizens a lot of sportsbooks use to copy off them .

It seems like Bodog and sportsbook always simultaneously release their lines at the same exact time, along with 5dimes and sportsbet.

What I don't get about that is that, considering line movement is supposed to be based on bets that come in, how is it possible that a book can mimic another's lines and not get all out of whack and shit?

That is one good thing. Since beeing a candian, I was not able to play on any other website than Sporbet years ago. And when I was looking to cashout a cheque, it was something like 60$us everytime.
Since it got bought by 5dimes, I can get a cheque free once a month.

My last two checks from bodog worked out fine. This one is having a problem. There are probably a lot of people cashing out with all the poker/fbi stuff happening. That is probably part of the reason. Another reason might be I am cleaning out my account. They don't have as much of a reason to provide me with great service, I'm not leaving any money in there.

As far as 5dimes goes, my check came promptly and cleared quickly. I have heard that they are not nice to winners though. I've read a few posts on SBR that have said that. I hear a lot about that "Tony" guy cutting people off when they continually win a lot of money. Lowering limits and whatnot. It is hard to tell what is true and what isn't. It would be great if it was legalised and regulated. I heard that The Greek and I think Bookmaker never pull any shit like that. They don't have prop bets like 5dimes though. Which sucks for me.

You are correct about Bodog Scientist. They are a shit book. I read that everywhere now. I am done with them.

I only hope that 5dimes is as good as they are supposed to be because I intend to keep winning. I'll probably keep my bookmaker account open for large straight bets as well. I am still not sure.

At the end of the day, if I only had the option to have an account with one book for the rest of my life, it would probably have to be Bookmaker.

It really doesn't make sense to me. Going back to the whole principle of line movement being based on relatively equal amounts of money coming in on both sides, it doesn't make sense that they'd give a shit if you win or not.

I personally do not believe that they cut off winners. They have bet limits so you can't give them more action than they can cover... it doesn't really make sense... I think it some bullshit some people say to sound cool. I don't see why the book would cut you off for winning... especially if you are winning all side of the lines. It doesn't make sense.
