Re: Poor people. I think there are plenty of decent poor people, but culturally, I just don't have anything in common with most of them. Too often they're common, filthy, unrefined bastards who make me uncomfortable.

The flip side of that token is that I don't really get into rich people either. I'll just stick with middle class folks like myself, I guess. In reality, right now I'm quite poor. But I don't come from a poor family so the mindset's totally different.

I did this job while I was in college. My friend's father owned the complex.

I know there are plenty of good poor people, I am only half serious. I know a lot of people who just choose to live a simple life, and I can get behind that. One mf my pals lives on $1000/month by choice after walking away from a job as a stock broker. I know alot of good poor people. But most of them are just lazy or drunk.

Dake caught the break of all breaks... Caldwell injury defaulted in the quarters. Dake still has a tough match, but he is probably going to meet Molinaro in the finals tomorrow.

Man, 149, 157 and 171 are CRAZY this year. I really want to see if Taylor can do it at 157. 171 has Lewnes (returning champ), Reader (#1 seed), and Ruth (freshman stud from Penn State). I got Ruth winning it, personally, but I will be pulling for Lewnes.

Penn State is up now 30.5 to Cornell's 29. Iowa doesn't have a chance IMO, but they have 24. I suppose if Caldwell and Mcdonough both won, and everything wen wrong with Cornell and PSU, they could win it.

Yeah, I guess Dake did luck out. I tried to watch the matches online, but I can't get the NCAA's video thing to work. (Maybe I could VPN into the university. -- just occurred to me). Looks like Cornell's still going strong. Dake's been winning. Bosak has been tearin' shit up and it looks like both favorites on the other side of the 184 bracket lost. I see Ruth lost also, as did Bucknell's LeValley, which sucks.
