What's the deal with Macs in movies, by the way? It seems like any time you see a computer in a movie it's a Macintosh. Do they just pay that much that often to have their shit featured?

I haven't noticed. It could be the fact that Macs are instantly recognizable as Macs and PCs are infinitely more generic and varied so they are much less apt for product placement and thus less noticeable.

Funny you mention it. I'm considering getting a Macbook atm.

Literally 90% of the time a computer shows up in a movie it's a Macintosh.

A rare exception is the movie Antitrust (which I actually enjoyed quite a bit), where all the computers are Linux-based.

You never see a Dell or an HP though, and you don't usually see Windows screenshots either.
