UFC's Fabio Maldonado: 'Americans Will Take MMA Over'


I seriously think he is right, especially in the physical conditioning of these athletes. In America, I think strength and conditioning coaching/training is WAY more focused on and is better in quality than in other countries. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying physical conditioning > technique, but when you combine the two (he even states the best coaches go to America due to money) you are going to usually do better than somebody in another country training in one gym focusing on just sparring/technique/drilling for your overall game. I am sure people are going to disagree with me, but...

It's just my opinion, man.

Americans won't take over just fighters that train in America. Almost all the top guys do anyways. Even Anderson Silva and Aldo go to L.A. and train.
