I once saw a Sherdog poster claim that they had done an analysis of fight statistics and determined that a fight is about equally likely to end in any given minute that it is active, for the first 12 minutes, and after that it drops sharply. They said they looked at both 3 and 5 round fights.

I couldn't see their data, nor I do know what fights were in their sample, but it sounds very plausible.

Well i work a fulltime job making pretty decent money. I should be able to conceal any winnings by transfering the money in small amounts then correct? I do it by check though. Any tips for doing it a better way?

My brother had to move 120k at once . I had him open 3 saving accounts and pull his money out 2-3k at a time,by check, rotating each withdraw check between the 3 accounts.

Also made sure he was withdrawing very odd amounts , dont withdraw 2,000 or 3,000 withdraw 2748.37 or 3196.14 ....something odd that looks like a paycheck . You won't get reported for 2-3k checks but the banks may think its suspicious activity and close your account . I also told him if anyone asked what the checks where for to just say "work" . Once each check would clear he'd withdraw 400 per day using his ATM card until all the money was out of his account , he kept it in my dad's safe.

I don't know for a fact if its ok or not to leave that kind of money in your bank account so I just had him take it out. If you have an extra 5k or less sitting in there I'd think you'd be fine but 40k in 3 accounts worried me so I had him take it out .The money sitting in your accounts is the only thing I'm unsure of ,maybe someone else knows that .

147 fights, 284 fighters , 25 submissions

so there's a 1 in 11.36 chance of a fighter getting a sub . So on average there's about 2 subs every card , interesting for the "not by sub" props

I just had a quick thought about main event fights and how they usually end (by sub, KO, or decision more often?)..small sample size for now but since UFC 100:

UFC 101: Penn RNC Florian
UFN Diaz vs Guillard: Diaz guillotine Guillard

Out of 46 main event fights, only 7 ended by sub...so around 15%. And out of those main events, imo I don't think ANY of us would have bet a "not *insert name here* by sub" prop bet except MAYBE the Brock Lesnar one.

another option is to put it into a safety deposit box in a bank. That might be a good idea. Or spread the money out. If your dads safe gets robbed he is screwed. It would be good to spread it out into like 5 different safety boxes.

A safety deposit box would be the best idea ,my dad's safe is big (6x6 ft) but still wasnt the ideal thing.

If you spread out the money, withdraw odd amounts, use checks,don't use the money for big items, and get a safety deposit you'll be fine
