I think the deal with Showtime is starting to Sour. Either that or they don't want to get locked into anything so they'll scrap the fight before Showtime can start promoting it. I don't think it'll be long before Strikeforce is dissolved. Without a stable network to air it on there's no reason to keep it around.

I think they should use it as a sort of minor leagues org to build up talent and test guys to see if they're ready for the UFC. Basically make it like the WEC when the WEC still had heavier weight classes. They can have champions and all the other trappings of a regular org.
