I don't think I will bet on Timmeh ever again after this fight, unless we get another -150 line on him against a can.

He is frustrating, because he is actually kind of good. Not going to be a champion again, but has beaten a lot of very credible guys. If you look at his record, it is actually pretty impressive. Not top 5 stuff, but with some work he could be in the top 10 again someday. Really the Mercer loss is the only truly humiliating loss on his record. Everyone else that has beat him was a top 10 guy (actually, top 5).

Yeah I've been thinking the same thing about Tim for a while. He could still do well in the UFC...he is a solid striker that probably has somewhat decent wrestling/grappling defense. On top of that he is 6'8'' tall and he is at the max weight. There are a LOT of heavyweights in the ufc that Tim would beat if you ask me. He doesn't seem to have the desire to get back there though. He has stated that he would like to if I remember correctly. Maybe I am wrong and Tim just figured fuck it why get into shape, I can kill this guy easily. That might be the case. What did he weigh? 311 pounds? That isn't his worst showing..It's still pretty far from 265 though which has to make me wonder how much is he really training.

^^He weighed 310 to fight Mercer. So this is his worst showing, by a pound.

Here is a list of current ufc heavyweights(wiki)

An in shape Tim Sylvia would have a solid chance of beating the following: Kongo, Cro cop, Struve, Pat Barry, Matt Mitrione, B Schaub, Joey Beltran, Roy Nelson, Chris Tuscherer, Mike Russow, Travis Browne, McCorkle, B Rothwell, Rob Broughton, Mark Hunt, Christian Morecraft, Chad Corvin, and Madsen. I think he could beat nog in a rematch.

That leaves the following list of guys who probably destroy him: Mir, Cain, Junior, Brock, Carwin.

                  Flame away.
Honestly I think he would have a good shot in a rematch against Mir and he might be able to avoid being outwrestled by Madsen. I know I put big nog big nog beat him alr

True it does blow but if Tim ever came back to the UFC we would get really good odds on guys he can probably beat.

Yeah his opponent looks like he stinks. Look him up. He has only fought cans for the most part and he has difficulty with them. I think he generally prefers grappling/ground and pound( he said this in an interview) and he doesn't look like he has any power standing up. There is video of him on youtube fighting a guy. Three full rounds. Rich Clementi is pretty damn good too.

Clementis last serious loss was against Quinn Mulhern. According to Clementi he was suffering from altitude sickness at the time. It could very well be true. He had a split D to Carey Varnier, an all american juco wrestler that trains with G jackson. He has wins over a lot of good guys and only seems to lose against good comp. He has 23 wins via sub and Derrow seems to be a bit of a grappler. I just feel like he is going to crush this kid. I could be wrong but I am trying to bet my best here. Go in heavy when I should.

Spend 15 minutes investigating Aaron Derrow and you will probably place a bet on Clementi.
