Great post edman555.Its been a few years since I last saw that video, I forgot Fedor once knew what a leg kick was .
I think Fedor now is a lot like Mike Tyson was at the end of his career, he doesnt want to fight anymore so he doesnt train. I think Fedor is just heading into the cage anymore and trying to blast people out real quick .2015 MMA BETTING CHAMP

Haha yeah I thought the exact same thing when I saw that leg kick. Also, he was clearly outstriking a prime cro cop. Whatever you want to say about CC, he was still a solid kickboxer and to outstrike one is pretty impressive. He also seemed like a beast the whole fight. Part of me wishes that Fedor would go to some awesome american camp and work like a motherfucker. How cool would it be to see him jacked and weighing 240-245 pounds? I was just trying to find Bigfoots fight weight and I read 285. M1's manager said he weighed 290-300 but he might be inflating it a bit. Either way Fedor is going to have trouble with all these monster sized guys. Every single guy left in the tournament is bigger than him.1 unit = 300 $Comment

I read Silva was 285 on fight day also.
I'd like to see Fedor get in shape and make one more run but I dont think he wants to fight anymore . Of course M-1 and Coker may push him to keep fighting since he's their money maker2015 MMA BETTING CHAMP

Yeah if he does fight though...god damn he should try to get a little bigger. I'm not trying to look at this one dimensionally but he was at best 55 pounds smaller than Bigfoot. Fedor isn't overly jacked or anything either, he even looks a little pudgy. I don't know, maybe he would lose some speed but you'd think an extra 10-20 pounds might help him get out from underneath BF/not get muscled around by strikeforce heavyweights. That was the deciding factor if you ask me, BF with the same skills minus 55 pounds would have clearly got his ass kicked.1 unit = 300 $Comment

.... Kind of looks like he has gradually gotten out of shape over the years. I really think he wants to retire for sure. I don't think we'll see him give into the pressure of fighting againLast edited by poopoo333; 02-14-2011, 11:43 PM.Comment

Speaking of Mirko, anyone see the best of Pride the other night? Cro Cop vs Herring.
Herring was a beast back then, real good shape too. Mirko was lightining getting out of the was of Herrings takedowns. I know Heath isnt world class on his wrestling, but the dude was solid. He had no chance in that one. Sometimes I forget how good Mirko was back then. I wish I would have watched more Pride when it was in its hey day.Comment

Looks like he's back already:
"I rushed to declare my retirement. I will fight more. Possibly, I will return to the Heavyweight Grand-Prix.
I am capable of having a few more fights. I didn't make any analysis yet on why I lost. I need to recover, I can't see very well yet." - Fedor Emelianenko, after returning to Russia"It's very nice that Fedor still has his fighting spirit, he is ready to rip everyone apart right now. Yes, his eye is swallowed, but it will heal. Most importantly for him not to have any psychological pressure. After this, he will train with a triple effort." - Vladimir Voronov, SAMBO coach.Fedor is capable to return to the tournament. Everybody stumbles, this is not the end of the world" - Alexander Michkov, striking coach

I figured M-1 and Coker would push him to keep fighting .2015 MMA BETTING CHAMP
