I judge fights how I think they should be judged, not by how shitty judges are likely to score them. Doing it your way is not consistent either, as not all judging is bad. Our confirmation bias only allows us to remember the bad decisions.

They've been doing it in California for amateur bouts for a little while now. I actually talked to a couple of officials who have been involved and they all said the results have been very promising.

I think that a lot of judges, when wavering between a 10-8 and a 10-9 would opt to give a 10-8.5 instead of a 10-9 if that were an option, and it would better reflect the reality in a lot of cases.
