He wasn't doing so hot in the striking, but once he started going to his wrestling the tide turned. If he had done that from the beginning, he probably would've won regardless.
I still think Sotiropolous is game. He won one of the rounds against Siver. The fight was actually close after the first round destruction. I was really impressed with the way he came back in that fight. He gets an A+ for toughness. He already has an A in grappling and his striking isn't that bad at all (I think he outstruck Siver in the second round by a tiny margin IIRC). I happen to think Siver is really really good so I don't take too much away from Sotiropolous for losing that one.
Dos Anjos is under valued in almost every fight. For some reason he doesn't seem memorable to most people. He is very fast with his striking, he has wicked leg kicks, and he has a solid ground game with good takedowns. He can give anyone a good fight. Sotiropolous will probably beat him, but I will probably bet DA as an underdog.
Well maybe the fight goes the distance is a good bet. Sotirop obv has a great chin and is not likely to get submitted. Dos Anjos is a black belt in bjj. He prob won't get subbed. Sotir doesn't hit that hard either so I bet he won't be ko'ing Dos anjos. That might be a nice bet right there. The line probably won't be too whacky either. I hope.
My concern with Dos Anjos is whether or not his jaw will hold up. After being broken in two places in his last fight that thing is now target number one from here on out. Whether Sotiropoulos hits hard or not isn't even the point anymore because for all we know that thing is two clean shots away from breaking again. Lets not forget he did tap in the end from Guida essentially pressing on it rather than the arm triangle.

Well his head/neck was basically getting jacked up against the cage wall. With a broken jaw that could def cause some extreme pain. I don't think he was tapping out to minimal pain. As per the broken jaw healing, I didn't think of that. Good point. I hope he is not taking this fight injured. Who knows though.
I just looked it up. It has been almost a year since his injury. I am not too worried about his jaw now.
Sidenote: Scientist, GSot is going to be hard for anyone he fights to stop. If I were you and I was betting Dos Anjos, I would bet Dos Anjos by decision. You can prob get +400 or something crazy like that.
I think Guillard should beat Roller though I haven't seen a lot of Roller fights. He has power in his hands but I don't think he can catch Guillard with a punch. He might be able to get him down though.
