Because I don't see how he can stop Melendez. He doesn't have KO power on his feet, and he sure as hell isn't going to submit Melendez. So that leaves just the GNP TKO stoppage. But Gil can scramble and is not going to just get pinned down and pounded on. I just don't see it happening. I think his bet shot at winning is by slighty more top control decision win, similar to how he beat Thompson. Still, it is not a lock, I recognize that. It definitely could happen. But I am willing to pay -500 on it.
Well so do I .I think my point is why not just put Melendez -230 in a parlay instead Kawajiri not instead the distance at -650?
Because I want to win the bet... I feel that Melendez is overpriced, I would put him at about -180. But more than that, I just do not think Kawajiri has the tools to actually stop Melendez, but I do think he can win a decision- so I put him at about -180 and almost all of that is via decision from my perspective. It would just be a different bet, higher reward, higher risk. I like the bet I made better in terms of risk/reward.
