    Gracie -125, King Mo -105
    Coenen -155, Tate +125

Opened on Bookmaker. Not sure who I'd bet. I was going to bet Tate when they were originally going to fight, but she was close to +180 IIRC. I don't know about the Gracie/Mo fight..can anybody convince me?

BJJ obviously doesn't work in MMA anymore, so all in on King Mo.

I have to take Mo simply because he has more power and judges are probably going to give him rounds for landing the more powerful shots.

Munoz didn't "do" anything to Maia on the mat that I recall. I mean, he butt punched the shit out of him, but didn't land anything and couldn't keep him down at all. Maia was unable to get it down though... that is totally plausible. I really doubt Roger can take Mo down. Roger has to hope that Mo takes him down or that he hurts him standing. I think the line is well set... it is a pick em to me.

Do you think Roger can land that jab enough to steal rounds?

I was hoping Scientist would bite on my previous post in this thread so I could post the trollface picture. Didn't work.

I honestly don't know. I am with Luke, I think Roger's hands look pretty bad. But they seem to be effective for some reason. Probably because he is 6'5. I think Mo has the edge standing personally, but Roger is a scientific guy... he is perfecting his clinch and knee set up. If you bend, he knees (Randleman), if you straighten up, he foot sweeps you (Prangley). I don't know if he can use it on Mo, but I wouldn't be shocked. I think Mo has the edge standing, but I personally believe that Roger will be choking him unconscious some time in the 2nd round. I am trying to be objective, but I honestly, I am really biased and can't see the fight clearly.

cmon... it was too obvious. You said bjj, you have to be more narrow... say the guard is dead or something, you went full retard man.

Roger has the benefit that Mo has horrible game plans. I believe Mo is sloppy enough to lose but at the current line I think he has some value. I would love to grab Roger at +130 to +150.

I think money will come in on Mo.

..I'm not even joking right now. But the guard basically IS dead in MMA. Jon Fitch summed it up perfectly awhile back.

I agree as to top 10 level guys... but that is not a problem with the guard, it is a problem with being on bottom and not trying to get up and also a problem with scoring. If Fitch actually tried to do damage, he would open himself up for counters. If you think the guard is ineffective, go watch a local show. It is just that the very top level guys have gotten pretty good at defending and playing for points.
