yeah, I am not totally ruling it out. I have seen a couple of different systems that it would be plausible. But I don't think it would work at higher stakes. That is the problem, when your bankroll grows, you turn conservative. I think I told you about the guy that did the "turning $100 into $1500" in a year thread. It worked... and he could probably replicate a similar system at least much of the time. But the issue is trying to turn that $1500 into $22,500, even though it is theoretically the same, definitely changes the psychology of it all (and the logistics, since a lot of books won't take a bet that big). But I like to do little side projects like that too, because I definitely do not rule out the possibility that there are people who figure some shit out.

I shoot for a 100% return every year, +50u, but really, I don't see that happening very often. I think a more realistic goal is a 50%, +25u though... and even that is only possible because of my 50u bankroll. When my stack gets bigger, I will probably go back to a 100u bankroll, and then I will be looking at 25% growth, maybe up to 50% if I have a good year. Still, even if you get 20% annually, you are beating the shit out of any other investment in the world by a mile.

I have to agree with scientist in 50% is the more realisitic goal. I've ran the numbers before on things and to get a 100% return on a good year I'd have to break it up into 2 sports (MMA/boxing and football) . Anything higher than 50% per sport is really over betting your bankroll imo and could end up being a disaster

Yeah, I haven't been adding up (well subtracting) my spreadsheet in awhile but I am close to -20u I think. Once I tally up my spreadsheet I will update the sig, I've just been lazy/scared to look. There are some good fights to bet on coming up imo so hopefully I get things going.

speaking of updating, Zak, you need to get on the ball updating the tracker. I am pumped to be out of the hole on the straight bets, almost there. I am in the hole a little extra because of my hedges against parlays, they are tallied as straight bets.
