Do you just hate him because he is fat? Why doesn't he deserve to win. Buentello is just as one dimensional as Konrad, and he has had a decade to fix it, but he just hasn't. The one "charmingly fat" dude that I can think of right now, that I would actually cheer for, would be Jonathan Ivey. Not only is he a perennial underdog, but he's also funny as hell and keeps shit interesting by doing somersaults and the People's Elbow.

He is boring as shit to watch though he did sub some guys didn't he? I could see him pulling that off down the road. He is so big and such a good wrestler + always in a dominant position where he could sub someone. That ='s sub to me, plus he never tries to strike. I disagree about his one trick, it could take him pretty far. It worked wonders for Jake shields.

^ agreed. I think he could go pretty far, and I think he would beat the vast majority of UFC HWs.

Shields has two tricks though, wrestling and jj. So far, Konrad hasn't shown too much on the ground other than an incredibly solid base. But Brock became the #1 HW in the world with just one trick as well. There are plenty of guys that do well with just one dimension, and I happen to think it is easier as a HW.

Brock is actually an adequate striker, though. Can he outstrike someone like Cain or JDS? Obviously not. But he's far more well-rounded than Konrad.
