If the bottom line is for us collectively to leave the house with half a million, then we'd have to come up with an average figure that everyone needs to hit, but in order to do that we need to know exactly how many people are going to be in the house.
Considering that we're looking for rapid bankroll growth, we'd have to take some risks, not unlike with the contest we did here (that I won). If it were me, I'd probably either place one very large bet on GSP or I'd place multiple big bets on the GSP-Aldo-Machida triumvirate.I heart cockComment

I did the rough math. And assuming we came up with 50K, and we were able to hit 8 different events throughout the 3 months. I think we needed like a 30% return per event or something like that to acheive the 500K. Do not hold me to that because i did it awhile ago. I guess I could easily figure it out again, but i am very lazy. i think the key would be to try to double the roll in the first 2 events. and then take a more conservative approach for the remaining events, maybe try to hit 25% return per event. With a LITTLE bit of luck and good capping. It is very possible.Comment

I don't have a problem with that, but presuming we're talking about doing this in the real world, I think that whatever network would run with this would need some element of drama and would probably want to turn it into some sort of competition.I heart cockComment

If I wanted rapid bankroll growth, I would do GSP/Aldo/Machida as well. It is even money and I think it has value. Or I might do GSP/Aldo + GSP/Machida just to protect a little. I have decided that GSP is going to win easily and I really think Aldo wins as well. Machida worries me. Most likely, Machida just punches Randy and randy falls over like he always does when he gets hit now. BUT I think Randy has a plan of just stalling him out on the cage and the judges like Randy for some reason. As a matter of fact, Machida has only faced two wrestlers in his career: Rashad (but he never tried to take him down) and Tito. Tito could not get him down, but Randy is a lot better than Tito at taking guys down. And even though Machida won easily over Tito, Tito was in the fight. I think Randy realizes that he is the best takedown guy that Machida has faced and he probably thinks he can close the distance with his little foot kick overhand right and then clinch... it could work.
But I can't live in the house... you guys are going to have to teleconference me in from my office.2012: +19.33
