I can't get a check because you need 1k in there for that. I might wait until after this weekend. If I win enough I will have them send me a check. Bookmaker I don't know what to do with. They said they can send me moneygram but there is a 70 dollar fee. I may just do that.

I would be getting any excess money out of BM if I were you, I don't think they will close down, and you will probably be able to get your money no matter what... but they may not process your pay out while all this is going down.

This whole thing really does piss me off. The FBI is going around seizing companies that aren't even in America because some American citizens choose to gamble on them. The whole thing is just super retarded.

I would agree that it's a gray area. That's why individuals aren't being prosecuted (although they HAVE been prosecuted under state laws).

But the very fact that we have to rely on books down in Costa Rica and can't just do the shit without worrying about it should be all the proof you need that the shit's not on the up and up.

No where in this country is it a crime to gamble online at the federal level, some states have passed laws against it but mine isnt one of them so please tell me how its not legal to bet ,online , in the state I live it .

They did see it coming. I heard the rumor about sportsbook domain seizures a week ago. If I heard about it, I guarranteed they knew about it too.

It doesn't seem that BookMaker, BetED or any of the other companies had bank accounts in the States. The Feds are trying to confiscate accounts from around the globe.

I have a theory that the feds are targeting higher level sportsbooks that also have poker. This is why I wrote an article about using mid-level books last week on my blog.

I have some feelers out to sources to learn more. But for what I was told last week, and the sources were right about the seizures, that this is the last round of indictments and the feds will now focus on prosecution.

But you never know. We are dealing in a gray area with online sports betting.

The coming months will be interesting. It will be seen how much power the U.S. has over some of this stuff. It all comes down to legal mumbo jumbo and treaties.

However, it has been suggested that you will see sportsbooks begin using other domains such as .ag, cr, etc. These can't be seized by the U.S. government.
