thoughts on High vs. Mulhern? It is going to be televised now, so we probably get a line. It is the best fight on the card anyway, not sure why it was on the undercard to begin with.

I have to watch more of Mulhern but from what I remember of seeing him, I think High will win. It's tough to find KOTC vids, or maybe I am not looking in the right spots. They are both grapplers, and I think High will be the guy on top more, but Mulhern is pretty active from his back IIRC, so High might get caught. High has never been caught in a sub before though, so it probably won't happen. I guess I am saying I am leaning High

Mulhern is a decent grappler, he is super long and flexible. He does a lot of rubber guard stuff, and has good back takes. High is a wrestler. IMO Galvao beat high clearly, but he never did sumit him. My initial thought is that if Galvao can't submit him, no one can. Galvao had him down most of the fight too, so he had a lot of time to work. But Galvao is more a postional guy, he doesn't really have a lot of submissions off his back, he is more about sweeping. Mulhurn is more of a guard player, but also has good control from top position. I am also leaning High for these reasons... but Mulhern is tricky and huge. I have my doubts for sure.

The other thing is that Hight migh be able to force a standup fight. The bad part about a wrestler forcing a standup fight is that if he does get taken down, he is kind of fucked. It would almost be better just to get the takedown and be on top. Mulhern can take his back and stay there with his long legs. High's wrestling is not the kind where he can stuff everyone all the time. He could get taken down.

So I don't know. I tend to think High's striking is a little better, but again Mulhern is a giant and throws a lot of kicks.

The Larkin/Villante line sucks. I was hoping to get Larkin at close to even. Griggs derailed the Villante hype train.

Larkins striking is pretty damn good. Ill be betting villante simply because larkins tdd probably sux. He almost got taken down by the slow ass shot of lighty.

Yeah, I think Larkin will win on the feet, but I really think Villante is going to come to grapple. He is one of those freak athlete football players/wrestlers and was a highly touted prospect before he got into a slugfest with #1 p4p best Chad Griggs
