I have come to the conclusion that most people really don't like MMA. There are only a few fighters that people are willing to pay to see, and it really has nothing to do with their ability.

Hrm. I was hoping for a better line, but I might bet on Sonnen anyway.

I wonder if the late casual-fan money will come in on Silva.

I put enough on him to win a unit. If it gets better I'll probably drop some more on him.

I guess it comes down to believing one of two things was a fluke:

1. Sonnen winning 23 minutes of a 25 minute fight.
2. Silva catching a triangle with 2 minutes to go after getting dominated for 23 minutes.

My biggest problem with the injury excuse is that I just don't think he would've taken the fight if he felt it was anything more than a minor annoyance going into it. Why would he?
