Well we've seen JDS go three rounds and still look generally fit. He gasses a bit as HWs are apt to do, but you know damn good and well that if he had fought the same fight against Werdum that Reem did then he wouldn't have been huffing and puffing by the end of it.

You have to favor Reem's clinch game, but I think JDS has better cardio and better striking defense. Overeem has been knocked out quite a few times.

I'll also give JDS the edge in takedown defense and Overeem probably has a large advantage on the ground, but I think the fight will stay standing.

If you look at Overeem's last three fights, his opponents just looked terrified of him. Brock and Rogers were much more tentative than they had ever looked in the past, and while Werdum was able to land some punches on the feet, he clearly didn't really want to be anywhere in the cage with Overeem except on his back. I think Overeem's got a real psychological advantage in there.

That said, I doubt JDS is the type of guy to be intimidated, especially after he handled Carwin and Cain.
