I think Hieron is live. Askren is one of my favorite fighters, but his hands are disgusting to watch. He has never had to fight a wrestler at all yet. He may just go out there and take him right down, but Hieron is a decent wrestler in his own right, I wouldn't be surprised if he can keep some distance.

Anyone else interested in betting Santos? Grove hasn't looked very good recently and Santos should win if he can get the td. Not sure what his striking is like.

Grove's submission defense is not that good IIRC, but he is big and he hits pretty hard. I don't like betting 2nd tier HWs at all... damn near anything can happen.

Yeah Grove is old and I don't know much about Santos so not bet. I will be on Jay for sure. Askren is good but so is Hieron..how many rounds is it by the way?

Did anybody watch Askren/Hieron? I am gonna watch it tomorrow, it was a split decision so it must have been close. I know BE scored it for Hieron

It was close. I scored 1, 2, and 4 for Askren. Most gave 1, 3, and 5 to Hieron.

Hieron/Hawn was very close/controversial as well. . .

I wonder how much credence can be given to Bellator judges giving the champ/the more established fighter the decision in such cases.

We saw the same thing in Warren/Galvao.
