He says Pellegrino shouldn't be the fave. But I think he should.

Thoughts?

BTW, why the fuck is Pellegrino fighting in Bellator? Didn't he "retire?" And if he was going to come back, why go to Bellator? Did he just want out of his UFC contract for some reason? Does he have Florianitis and want to go where he is most likely to win a belt?

I think Freire is going to beat him. Tough matchup IMO.

Hm, well, I have a tendency to attripute some of Patricio's ability onto Patricky, but I think Patricky has real real good takedown defense.

I bet on Freire as soon as the line came out, I figured it would get worse (I was wrong).

I guess we'll see what happens. Maybe Freire will win. Or maybe Pellegrino will do a little "exposing" of Bellator's LWs and show that there's a pretty big divide between Bellator's guys and the UFC's guys.

Given what Chandler did to Alvarez... MMAth tells me that Freire wil be able to stuff Pelligrino. Even if he gets it down, Freire is probably just as good on the ground. I am going to bet Freire here.

yeah, but all rounds were close... wasn't a blow out or anything. And IIRC Chandler was having trouble getting him down. He beat Friere standing mostly, but after seeing him with Alvarez, he is a pretty good striker.

Yeah but Kurt is a pretty solid wrestler himself. I don't know. I am kinda with you on this one I guess. Before losing to Sotiropolous and Tibau, Kurt was doing pretty good. Those two fights were close as well.
