If Rousey is that big of a favorite then I'll be on Budd. Budd is big, strong, and a championship kickboxer. She also has more MMA experience. Rousey's a great judoka, but we don't know how she'll react if she gets blasted really good.

Because she is a bonafied monster. She is like a freakin phenom.

Do we even have enough info on her to know that at this point, though?

Just my opinion. On paper you are correct, even though she has the same amount of fights(MMA) as Budd. But sometimes you have a gut feeling and I have it. I think she is special. And I just do not believe you accomplish what she has without being a tough as hell person.

Fair enough. I think that, for me, it's just that she has literally had less than 2 minutes of total cage time. Maybe she's just a straight beast and that's why she's been wrecking people in under a minute. But I think it's hard to make that call at this point.

Budd has had more actual cage time and in her three fights has fought better opponents.

Bear in mind that I'm not saying that I think Budd will necessarily win, but I do think that a big line on Rousey is not justified yet. Can she take a punch? What will she look like if she's drawn into deep waters? Questions like this have to be answered first.
