I lean Diaz, but Condit has been surprising me lately so I think it could go either way. . .

My thoughts when I look at the fight.

Condit is not going to knock Diaz out
Condit is not going to submit him
Condit is not going to out work him
Condit is not going to have more gas

Diaz is not going to knock Condit out
Diaz could submit him (late in the fight)
Diaz will outwork him
Diaz will have more gas

I think Diaz will win a war of attrition. Late sub or a decision.

My only fear is that Diaz get stopped on cuts.

I don't think it's unthinkable that Condit will knock Diaz out. Daley had Diaz in real trouble during their fight. A better fighter may have been able to stop him.

Also, it wasn't long ago at all that Diaz fought a very close decision with Noons, and Condit is a better fighter than Noons is.

Valid points, but I think Daley and Noons are better pure strikers then Condit.

Condits does have some power. I guess I like Diaz in this. Condit has cardio IMO. However he is the more muscled guy, he might get tired faster.

I heard Fall at the earliest . . . he could potentially be out the whole year if there are any complications with his rehab.

Now the real question: If he gets beat in his first fight back then does everyone blame the injury or will his opponent get the credit he deserves?

I think everyone will blame the injury. That said, I think he will beat either guy even coming off the injury.
