the points props are instant winners if the fighter you picked wins inside the distance by any means.

Pettis does get taken down a bit but he also has some good switches for a guy with no prior wrestling. He ended up on top of Roller twice when Roller was going to get him down. Lauzon is only good for a round anyway.

To explain my somewhat big bet(given my bankroll size) on Bart:

Bart is a much bigger stronger guy with a black belt in bjj and decent enough wrestling. Hioki is seems like he has very little power standing. He had a hard time getting roop to the ground and was clearly outstruck by Roop. Roop even landed a takedown on him. I think Bart can keep it standing where he has a very solid edge. He was also +164. He has only been tapped twice in his career(bart 50 fights)

Yeah but Bart got taken down repeatedly by Ricardo Lamas. Also, Hioki stuffed Pat Curran and took Curran down 3 of 4 times. I see no reason why Hioki doesn't get the takedown if he wants it.

Rampage and Akiyama's lines are really climbing now. I think they're bettable.

I kind of agree with you on Bart, Edman. Not to use a cliche, but I think it all depends on "which Hioki" shows up.

Akiyama at +325? Yeah, gotta throw something small on that.

Ricardo Lamas was also an all american wrestler(d3) and an assistant collegiate wrestling coach. I did notice that though and it gives me some reservations. That said, Hioki is skinny as hell. I am hoping Barts strength advantage will help him with his wrestling.

                  Jeff Curran Wikipedia:

Curran started his path towards mixed martial arts with Karate and Tae Kwon Do at The Age of 5. Curran has trained for 16 years and has fought for 5 years. He began wrestling in the 4th grade and did that until his freshman year when he began Jiu-Jitsu. Jeff also says that as a teen he would box with his grandfather. Jeff holds a rank of 2nd degree black belt under Professor Pedro Sauer. He is also known as one of the most technical instructors in the Pedro Sauer Jiu-Jitsu Association. Jeff credits Royce Gracie as being the fighter that made him want to start.

He outwrestled him in 2006. He only wrestled from 4th grade until high school. He is a good fighter though.

All my bets are placed for now. If I'm doing OK up until Sexyama fight I will bet on that. Will also bet more on Rampage before the fight if his line gets even better.

Yeah, I hate to have to agree with you, but you're right, he's gonna lose. I pretty much consider Okami the lock of the whole card.

Yeah, I think the flight had it's effect on Boetsch who I'm sure wasn't fully done cutting until after he got into Japan.

What makes you think that? I am sure he was there a week in advance so of course he was not going to be on weight right away.

Hamill, Brilz, Matyushenko, Davis... all of Boetsch's losses are to the wrestlers he has fought.

I think Okami will win this on the feet or on the ground. I can't really think of anything Boetsch does better.
