NYK were you sold on the Yanks getting rid of Girardi? I thought that was a mistake.

I was but in all honesty I would rather have Joe over Boone.

Joe went by the binder instead of just watching how his players were doing. Coached too much by the numbers, not enough with his eyes.

He was an average manager at best. The title he won in 2009 wasn't that impressive. In all honesty Stump Merrill could have lead that team to a title. Too many Yankee diehards put too much value in him just because he was a member of those phenomenal Yankees teams in the late 90's.

I wanted Rob Thomson, but the Yanks screwed that up and went in a totally different direction hiring an awful broadcaster with no coaching experience and has been out of the game for almost a decade.
