    Brian W. Spencer's Daily Picks

Presque Isle Downs - Race #1
#2 Lady Loves Money She's back off the bench with some form that feels competitive -- her local races were pretty solid before that Belterra stakes dud. Could see her firing fresh to score here.
#3 Moms Tribute She goes third off the break after taking a step forward last time out, and another move in the right direction would probably make her tough today. One of the ones.
#5 Sugar Momma She's got a little bit of outside pace to work with, and she at least stayed on with a tiny bit of energy without quitting entirely last out. Could see it, but think she's more likely underneath.
Race Summary Lady Loves Money kicks off her campaign here with some back form that seems competitive, and she should appreciate getting back in with friends after the stakes try.
Presque Isle Downs - Race #2
#2 Pancho Slips Away He'll need to be ready to go off the layoff, but he has some pace in a small group without much other speed, and he could shake free of these into the turn and close this one out early.
#1 Pump It Up Baseline form fits well, but he'll have to reel in the top choice who figures to get the jump on him. Local footing is also a question, but I'm not super concerned.
#5 St. Emilon Debuter isn't landing in the toughest spot you're ever going to see, so get a look at him ahead of this on the tote and track. Won't have to be a star to share here.
Race Summary Pancho Slips Away can flash some pace today -- and he may be tough to bring back if none of the fresh faces show any prompting speed to keep him honest.
Presque Isle Downs - Race #8
#10 Strategyforyou Bit worried about the next guy complicating things for him near the top, but there just isn't a whole lot of pace lined up today, and that positive race flow might be enough to give him a chance to outrun his price.
#3 King Reigert He stretched out nicely last out with some speed, but he came down after bad behavior. Obvious player right back with a good race shape waiting for him.
#4 Bromista Thought we'd see something a touch better last time out, but the bottom line is that he's competitive at this kind of level while not being a standout. He's had some chances, too.
Race Summary Strategyforyou and King Reigert might be up near the top here, but the former should be a better price on the board and gets the outside prompting draw.

      Frank Carulli's Daily Picks

      Horseshoe Indianapolis - Race #1
#6 VACCINATOR (7-2) Deceptively good allowance try with second-time blinks, today’s Best Bet.
#4 SPOONIE (3-1) Churchill invader broke maiden at this level, drops below his claim price.
#8 GAGLIARDI (2-1) Raced close-up and finished in the money in last three starts for $12,500.
Race Summary VACCINATOR ran his best race in a turf-to-dirt allowance company off similar rest. He was impeded at the break and finished fourth in the six-horse field, but his top speed figure was validated when 3-to-5 favorite Lucency (6-18, $299k) repeated in a $50,000 claiming race and runner-up Out Of The Clouds came back to win by 7-1/2 lengths under these conditions. Bet to win and place and play 6-6 and 6-7 daily doubles.
      Horseshoe Indianapolis - Race #2
#7 LILLY ROSE EXPRESS (7-2) Willing finish in first try for a tag, stalking trip from outside seems ideal.
#6 KAGZI (6-1) Good speed, good company lines, De La Cruz pilots for the first time.
#3 JULEE FOREVER (7-2) Rallied 4-wide to finish second in 17th start, added ground a plus.
Race Summary LILLY ROSE EXPRESS, caught wide between rivals on the backstretch, finished willingly in mid-track but was no threat to the trip-sitting winner and dueling leaders. She showed enough zip in the morning works to suggest she can be closer to the pace in her second start removed from Maiden Special Weight company. Bet to win and place and play 7-3, 7-6 and 6-7 exactas.
      Horseshoe Indianapolis - Race #6
#1 SABRINA (5-1) Useful comeback sprinting against sharp winner, turf the question.
#8 BAYTOWN STORM (7-2) Improving sort made last-to-third move in first try on the grass.
#6 CHAMPAGNE ON ICE (3-1) Arrives in decent form but only beat one horse in 3 of 4 starts on turf.
Race Summary SABRINA changed tactics off a year layoff, pressing the 5-to-2 runner-up and tiring in the stretch for a $40,000 tag. Race winner Commanded (3-7, $88k) won a $30,000 claimer by 4 widening lengths last Saturday. She should benefit from that start and the class drop for her turf debut. Bet to win and place and play 1-6 and 1-8 exactas.
